Social Work dept partners with PRC for an easier processing of licensure exam application

The Department of Social Work of Southern Leyte State University - Maasin City Campus partnered with the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Region 8 for an onsite application of Social Work Board Takers on August 8, 2022.

The activity aims to provide an avenue for the social work board takers a faster way to process their Board Exam application.

There were 110 Social Work Board Exam Takers received their Notice of Admission from the Professional Regulation Commission Region 8. The Notice of Admission is a major requirement in taking the said licensure exam.

Examiners are set to take the Social Work Licensure Examination in September 2022.

The university deems it advantageous to hold such activity as it will provide assistance and convenience to the board takers. Moreover, the Social Work Department is persistent in producing graduates who may be able to make life more bearable, especially for those in the marginal sectors.
