Southern Leyte State U conducts joint RI, extension services review, evaluation

The Office of Extension Services in collaboration with the Office of Research and Innovation conducted a two-day activity on "Joint Research and Innovation Review and Evaluation and Extension Services Review and Evaluation" on May 17-18, 2022, for the selected faculty members from the College of Computer Studies and Information Technology (CCSIT), College of Engineering (COE), and College of Technology (COT).

The activity sights to review and evaluate the new and ongoing Research, Innovation, and Extension Services programs, projects, and activities (PPAs) of the said three colleges. Further, it seeks to refine and align these outputs to the needs of the community.

The offices of Extension Services and Research Innovation aims to generate Research, Innovation, and Extension Services PPAs with particular emphasis on meaningful poverty alleviation programs, women empowerment, and the provision of expert services needed by the communities in the service area.
This is the university’s stride to empower the faculty members to be more functional in facilitating projects and programs that will benefit the community at large.
