16 first-time takers excel in Feb 2022 Mech Eng board exam, gets institutional rate of 80%
Out of 20 who took the board exam for the first time, sixteen (16) graduates from Southern Leyte State University excelled in the 2022 February Mechanical Engineer Licensure Examination, according to the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC)
A total of 22 examinees from Southern Leyte State U took the exam, two (2) of which are repeaters.
PRC announced Monday, March 7, the results for the February 2022 Mechanical Engineer Licensure Examination.
Out of 3,780 examinees, only 2,121 passed, while 52 out of 95 passed the Certified Plant Mechanic (CPM) Licensure Examination.
Southern Leyte State U garners an institutional rate of 80% and an overall performance percentage of 72.73.
In August 2021, Southern Leyte State U obtained a 100% institutional passing rate after 2 examinees passed the exam.

Mark Anthony Arcayan from the Visayas State University clinched top 1 in 2022 February Mechanical Engineer Licensure Examination with an outstanding rating of 96.60%, while Algier Rene Sarte from Rizal Technological University claimed the 1st rank in the 2022 February Certified Plant Mechanics board exam.
Meanwhile, Bohol Island State University is the top-performing school February 2022 Mechanical Engineer Licensure Examination with a passing percentage of 90.70.
