SLSU manages to garner 77.78% passing rate for first-time takers in 2021 November civil engr board exam amidst online review shift
Seven (7) out of nine (9) first-time takers from Southern Leyte State University successfully passed the November 2021 licensure examination for civil engineer.
SLSU has gained eight (8) new civil engineers with an overall performance rate of 61.54%.
SLSU's newest engineers are Engr. Jeremias C. Barcelon II, Engr. Anthony Junel G. Corcilles, Engr. Danica Y. Jaramillo, Engr. Florencio C. Manatad Jr., Engr. Jay B. Nobile, Engr. Eddelyn O. Omapoy, Engr. Rogie Boy P. Paña, and Engr. Edralyn May P. Risma.
A total of 13 graduates took the exam. Four (4) of which are repeaters.
According to the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), 2,374 passed the test out of 6,474 who took the exam nationwide. PRC released the results eight (8) working days after the last day of examination.
In a Facebook post, Engr. Raymart Bulagsac, Head of the Department of Civil Engineering, sends his felicitations to the newly registered civil engineers.
Meanwhile Engr. Elve Anthony Lobo, Dean of the College of Engineering, is ecstatic about the results and considers this achievement a feat.
Rajiv Nooh Dalagan Amil from Ateneo de Davao University topped the board exam with 93.25% rating while the University of the Philippines (UP) –Diliman is the only top performing school with 50 or more examinees and with at least 80% passing rate. UP Diliman got 92.86%.
