SLSU inks deal with DepEd Bontoc District I on action research conduct
The Southern Leyte State University (SLSU), represented by the University President Dr. Prose Ivy G. Yepes, signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on an action research conduct, together with the Department of Education (DepED) Bontoc District I on Tuesday, April 6, 2021.
This collaborative project called "Newly Enhanced Writeshops and New Opportunities for Research in Management and Academic Learning (NEW NORMAL): An Action Research Capability Building Project" is an initiative of SLSU's Department of Teacher Education (DTE) and Institute of Arts and Sciences (IAS), through the offices of Research and Innovation and External Linkages and Extension Services.
Through the different activity components of the NEW NORMAL project, it aims to produce functionally literate, useful and self-reliant teachers imbued with the values necessary to become effective researchers, and those who are equipped with technical and literacy skills that ensure productivity. Likewise, it aims to establish a sustainable system for knowledge sharing and learning for partner-clientele.
