Southern Leyte State University participates to ICLADESH 2025 as Academic Partner
Southern Leyte State University proudly served as an Academic Partner in the International Conference on Converging Disciplines in Arts, Linguistics, Education, Social Sciences, and Humanities (ICDALESH 2025), held at the Acacia Hotel Manila on October 23-24, 2025.
Dr. Francis Ann R. Sy, Vice President for Research, Innovation, and Extension Services (VPRIES), delivered a compelling presentation on the role of higher education in bridging the digital divide, focusing on how universities can promote inclusive education through digital inclusion and innovation.


Alongside her were Dr. Ingrid M. Uy, Director of External Linkages & International Affairs, and Engr. Khorina O. Aguilar, Director of Research and Innovation, who proudly represented SLSU, highlighting the university’s efforts to advance global collaboration and sustainable development.
The conference brought together experts from diverse disciplines, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and exploring innovative approaches aligned with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It was a powerful platform for discussing how we can build a more inclusive and connected future.
As the conference concludes today, SLSU is excited to carry forward the valuable discussions and collaborations ignited during the event, continuing the university's collective journey toward a more inclusive and digitally connected future.
