SLSU-Maasin City Campus Participates in Tree-Growing for a Cause
In line with the 124th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary, Southern Leyte State University-Maasin City Campus participated in the Tree-Growing for a Cause: Malasakit sa Kalikasan, Malasakit sa Lingkod Bayan held on September 27, 2024, at Capitol, Maasin City.
Dr. Frederick C. Añiga, Campus Director; Donna Grace Jacobe, Administrative Officer; and Gloreina Mercado, Human Resource Management Officer, represented the university alongside various national agencies.
This initiative not only fosters community engagement but also aligns with key Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including Goal 13 (Climate Action), Goal 15 (Life on Land), and Goal 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), highlighting the university's commitment to environmental stewardship and public service.
