Southern Leyte State U signs MOA with PUP to co-host ICSTE 2022
Southern Leyte State University partnered with Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) through a memorandum of agreement (MOA) that will co-host the upcoming International Conference on Science, Technology, Engineering (ICSTE) 2022. The partnership was formalized through a virtual MOA signing ceremony conducted on Friday, September 23, 2022.
The ICSTE 2022 is organized by Canada Conference Board that aims provide the platform for Students, Engineers, Scientists, Researchers and Academicians to share the knowledge and ideas in the recent trends in the field of Science, Engineering & Technology. Further, this will serve as a platform to the researchers and practitioners from both academia as well as industry to meet the share cutting-edge development in the field.
As an organizing partner of the said international conference, Southern Leyte State U will serve as session chairperson and moderators and to facilitate the pocket seminars and pre-conference sessions.
Present in the ceremony were PUP President Dr. Manuel Muhi, Vice President for Research, Extension, and Development Dr. Anna Ruby P. Gapasin, Director for Research Management Office Dr. Jackie Urrutia, and Center for Research Dissemination and Linkages Chief Dr. Daryl Ace Cornell. In attendance for Southern Leyte State U were also University President Dr. Prose Ivy Yepes, Vice President for Research, Innovations and Extension Services Dr. Francis Ann Sy, and the Director for Research and Innovation Dr. Rhoderick D. Malangsa.
The ICSTE 2022 will take place come December 7-9, 2022.
