Southern Leyte State University Conducts Extension Services Review and Evaluation
Southern Leyte State University (SLSU) conducted its Extension Services In-House Review and Evaluation,on May 21, 2025 at the RIES Conference Room, Main Campus, to assess and align its extension projects with institutional priorities and national development goals.
The program opened at 8:00 AM, with Dr. Francis Ann R. Sy, Vice President for RIES, welcoming participants and emphasizing the vital role of extension services in advancing inclusive growth and sustainability.

• Jona Mae C. Espere, Planning Officer III
The team evaluated eight extension initiatives, consisting of four terminal reports, two progress reports, and two project proposals. Each was assessed based on relevance, sustainability, community engagement, and alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDGs 1, 2, 4, 5, 11, 13, and 17.
The review reaffirmed SLSU’s commitment to empowering communities through impactful and sustainable outreach initiatives.
