Inolinan—gathered for this final leg of the initiative, which aimed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills to better manage their finances and achieve economic stability.
The program was hosted by Jericho Bahinting, who served as the master of ceremonies and ensured the seamless flow of activities throughout the day.
The event began with a warm welcome from the local leaders of the participating barangays. They emphasized the significance of financial literacy in addressing the economic challenges faced by their communities.
Resource Speaker Danilo Escobido spearheaded the training session, delivering a comprehensive discussion on key financial topics, such as saving strategies, effective budgeting, and debt management. His expertise and practical approach allowed participants to easily grasp the concepts and understand how to apply them to their everyday lives.
Supporting the training were Facilitators John Brodeth, Mylyn Agapay, and Gwendolyn Tatoy, who guided participants through interactive activities and workshops. These sessions encouraged participants to actively engage, ask questions, and share their personal experiences, fostering a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
The joint training session brought together diverse perspectives from the seven barangays, enriching the discussions and promoting knowledge-sharing among the participants. Pre- and post-tests were conducted to evaluate the participants’ progress and ensure that the training objectives were met.
The program concluded with closing remarks from the facilitators, who expressed their gratitude to the participants for their enthusiasm and commitment to learning. They also highlighted the importance of applying the financial strategies discussed during the training to achieve long-term economic resilience.
