Maasin City Campus

The Southern Leyte State University-Maasin City Campus is one of the six campuses of the university. It is where the College of Good Governance and Development Studies is situated. The Maasin City Campus champion on the study of social justice and social change with particular focus on good governance and policy analysis as its major fundamentals. It values the belief that true development only occurs when people recognize their own potential and ultimately work towards the advancement of their aspirations. The Maasin City Campus prepares its students with the appropriate knowledge, skills and attitudes on social and civil services with the primary objective of leaving a positive impact and touching other people’s lives. 

The Maasin City Campus offers Bachelor of Science in Social Work and Bachelor of Science in Public Administration that work synergistically in the pursuit of human and social development. It has produced numerous registered social workers and top-of-the-line public administrators who are now holding top positions in the government and non-government organizations, academe and other development organizations. 

Graduates from Maasin City Campus easily adjust to various work settings that translates into providing equal opportunities for all. It unceasingly work towards the advancement of human potential guided by the principles of inclusiveness and justice.
