SLSU welcomes 30 new faculty

 
WELCOME TO THE FAMILY. SLSU- Maasin City Campus (MCC) welcomed its newly hired faculty through an Orientation Seminar and Oath Taking Ceremonies on August 20, 2020.
 
Dr. Prose Ivy G. Yepes, University President, led the oath-taking for the 30 newly hired faculty members. Dr. Yepes, in her message during the program, highlighted the phrase “Public service is a public trust.”
 
An orientation seminar that was spearheaded by Ms. Veronica L. Reoma, HRMO III, aimed to explain assigned duties and responsibilities reflected on the position description form and to inform employees of the benefits, work hours, pay periods, benefits, and allowances.
 
The activity also gave an orientation on the role of a public servant and other policies on the CSC PRIME-HRM. It further introduced the university's vision, mission, philosophy, objective, core values, organization structure and culture, academic leaders, key officials, and curricular offerings.
