SLSU Bontoc Remojo, AO V joins panel of Judges at IBCC 2025

Mr. Erwin P. Remojo, Administrative Officer V of Southern Leyte State University (SLSU) Bontoc, has been invited to serve as a distinguished judge for the International Business Case Competition 2025 (IBCC 2025) with a theme, “Think Globally, Compete Strategically.” Held on October 3, 2025 at SLSU San Juan Student Center, Mr. Remojo leveraged his administrative expertise and professional insight in the global platform.

Hosted by the Business and Management Department of SLSU San Juan, in partnership with the with Universitas Multimedia Nusantara (UMN) of Indonesia and Tra Vinh University (TVU) of Vietnam, IBCC 2025 serves as platform for aspiring business leaders to showcase their strategic thinking, creativity and innovation in addressing real-world challenges.

A series of events is scheduled for October 3, 2025, as the preliminary opening in a hybrid format at the SLSU San Juan Student Center, followed by semi-finals on October 29 (hybrid) and the grand finals on November 21 at Universitas Multimedia Nusantara. 

Mr. Remojo known for his commitment in public service and dedication to organizational excellence at SLSU Bontoc, served as a judge evaluating presentation according to criteria that aligned with the competition’s mission of developing globally competitive and socially responsible business leaders. His role also involved critically assessing participants’ business plans solutions for both innovation and viability.

“Having professionals like Mr. Remojo on the judging panel ensures that the evaluation process remains fair, credible, and rooted in real-world understanding,” said Ms. Louremel Marie L. Muncada, Head of the Business and Management Department and Vice-Chair of IBCC 2025. “His insights as an academic and administrative leader will provide immense value to our participants.”

Nine (9) teams of undergraduate students 3rd  year and 4th  year students from diverse academic fields presented their impromptu innovative solutions before the panel of judges that was composed of industry professionals and academic experts from partner institutions. The IBCC 2025 serves as a platform for the student to tackle business challenges centered on sustainability, artificial intelligence, and other special topics. 

Beyond fostering international collaboration, the event highlighted SLSU’s unwavering dedication to excellence, leadership, innovation and social responsibility. Through its partnership with international universities UMN and TVU, the competition underscored the university’s thriving global engagement in advancing of business education and student development.

 This initiative aligns with several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 16 – Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, SDG 4 – Quality Education, and SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals.
