A Dive Well Done! LGU Palompon Dive Training

On August 19, 2024, twelve (12) participants from LGU Palompon, in collaboration with Southern Leyte State University (SLSU) - Bontoc Campus, successfully completed a dynamic three-day dive training. The program featured a discovery dive and an open water refresher course led by SLSU's resident dive masters Ryan P. Tomol and Jerome Jack Napala. Despite time constraints, the participants demonstrated commendable enthusiasm, determination, and resilience in acquiring essential diving skills. This initiative aims to strengthen the capacity of LGU personnel in conducting underwater assessments and supporting the conservation and management of coastal and marine resources.
