TES 2 beneficiaries attend orientation, receive checks

Over 1000 Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) beneficiaries attended the orientation regarding the TES program of the government at the Multipurpose Court, SLSU-Main Campus, Sogod, Southern Leyte on March 11, 2020.

During the orientation, Dr. Prose Ivy G. Yepes, university president, emphasized the significance of the scholarship program of the government on the attainment of the beneficiaries’ goals in life. Likewise, she mentioned about the proper use of the money that the beneficiaries will receive by prioritizing the needs over wants.

After the orientation, the ceremonial distribution of checks and an open forum were done. The rest of the additional beneficiaries of SY 2018-2019 claimed their checks at the cashier.
