ICTS conducts Computer Training Program for ALS Learners

The Information and Communications Technology Society (ICTS), the official student organization of the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences (FCIS) of SLSU–Sogod Campus, successfully conducted the ALS Computer Training Program on February 18, 2026.

Led by dedicated ICTS student officers and taskforce members under the guidance of Dean Czarina Ancella Gabi, the whole-day hands-on training empowered Alternative Learning System (ALS) learners with essential digital skills productivity software and Canva. The sessions focused on practical applications for academic requirements and employment preparation.

Participants actively engaged in guided activities, strengthened their digital competencies, and received Certificates of Completion in recognition of their achievement.

This initiative highlights how ICTS, as a dynamic FCIS student organization, goes beyond the classroom—championing digital empowerment, inclusive education, and meaningful community engagement.
