SLSU Alumni Celebrate 5th Grand Homecoming

Southern Leyte State University alumni from various batches came home to celebrate the 5th Grand Alumni Homecoming, a three-day gathering filled with heartfelt reunions, laughter, and memorable activities.

The event kicked off on June 26 with the much-anticipated Jubilarian’s Night at the SLSU-MPC. Attendees donned formal attire for an elegant evening filled with nostalgia.

On June 27, alumni gathered again for the Alumni King & Queen 2025 celebration. The evening featured the coronation program, a fellowship dinner, and an energetic disco and ball. It truly showcased the vibrance and unity of SLSU’s alumni community.

The blessing ceremony of the Balay Alumni also took place.

The festivities wrapped up on June 28 with a refreshing Beach Party at Durias Beach in San Jose, Sogod. Alumni enjoyed health and wellness activities such as zumba and sing-alongs led by Mr. Andrelito Ganda, followed by parlor games, a raffle draw, trivia contests, and a karaoke session. Batch 1979 and Batch 1995 hosted the beach party.

The three-day celebration not only rekindled friendships but also strengthened ties between the alumni and the university.
