SLSU Men’s Basketball Team gears up for Inter-Collegiate Tournament in the province

The Southern Leyte State University (SLSU) Men’s Basketball Team is set to compete in the upcoming Inter-Collegiate Basketball Tournament in the Province of Southern Leyte come June 26-28, 2026, carrying with them the pride and aspirations of the University community. The tournament provides an opportunity for the student-athletes to showcase their skills, discipline, teamwork, and commitment to excellence in collegiate sports while representing the University on the provincial stage. 

This year's participation holds special significance as the SLSU Men’s Basketball Team undergoes a rebuilding process marked by a revamped roster and a renewed vision for long-term success. Composed of a blend of promising young talents and experienced players, the team is focused on establishing a strong foundation for future competitiveness. The upcoming tournament serves as a valuable avenue for the athletes to gain competitive experience, strengthen team chemistry, and assess the progress of the program's rebuilding efforts.
