The activity was spearheaded by Mr. Rogen A. Cagorol, Extension Coordinator and faculty member of the Industrial Technology Department, together with Dr. Virgilio L. In line with TESDA competency standards, the training covered small-engine theory; engine types and operating cycles; servicing preparation; dismantling, inspection, and troubleshooting; preventive maintenance; and reassembly.

Through lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on exercises, participants learned the proper use of tools and equipment, the identification of major engine components, the detection of common defects, and the observance of workplace safety practices. The training served unemployed individuals, out-of-school youth, workers seeking additional competencies, and other community members interested in small-engine servicing, helping improve their readiness for certification, employment, self-employment, and livelihood opportunities.
