SLSU-TO Student Interns Complete Teaching Internship at CIE British School of Tacloban

The student interns from Southern Leyte State University - Tomas Oppus officially conclude their teaching internship at CIE British School of Tacloban with a culmination program marking the completion of their training.

This event brings together school administrators, cooperating teachers, parents, and students to recognize the interns’ accomplishments and reflect on the experiences gained during their internship. The ceremony opens with a welcome address from Rhea Mae O. Galang, who, representing the interns, thanks the mentors, supervisors, and the school community for their guidance and support. Throughout the program, the interns showcase their talents through performances such as song, dance, and spoken word poetry, with students from various grade levels also participating in the festivities.

A testimonial segment follows, where student representatives share their classroom experiences and express appreciation for the lessons and support received during the internship period. Messages are delivered by Dr. Norlyn Borong, along with the school’s Head Teacher and the Instructional Supervisors of the Primary and Secondary departments, all of whom emphasize the importance of continuous learning, commitment, and professional growth. A key part of the program is the awarding of Certificates of Completion to the SLSU TO interns, while cooperating teachers receive Certificates of Recognition and tokens of appreciation for their mentorship.

In her closing remarks, Dr. Leslie Elisa Cobilla encourages the interns to pursue excellence as they begin their professional careers, and the program concludes by celebrating their readiness for the teaching profession.
