SLSU rolls out free Microsoft 365 licenses for students and employees
Southern Leyte State University (SLSU) has officially announced the availability of 1,240 free Microsoft 365 software licenses for students and employees at the Sogod Campus.
The initiative, spearheaded by the University Information Systems and Analytics (UISA) Office, aims to equip the academic community with essential digital tools to enhance collaboration, streamline administrative tasks, and improve overall productivity. Through access to Microsoft 365, users can utilize a range of applications that support both academic and office-related functions, providing a more efficient and connected university environment.
According to the MC Memorandum Order No. 80, each license will be valid for one year from the date of activation. The distribution of licenses will follow a first-come, first-served basis and will continue until all available slots are filled.
Students and personnel who wish to avail of the free licenses are encouraged to coordinate directly with Mr. Ephraim L. Calope of the UISA Office for assistance regarding the activation process and the necessary requirements.
This initiative reflects SLSU’s ongoing efforts to embrace digital transformation and support its stakeholders with accessible and relevant technological resources for learning, research, and administrative work.
