SLSU graduates rank among Region VIII Top 10 in February 2026 Criminologists Licensure Examination

Three graduates of Southern Leyte State University (SLSU) earned spots among the Top 10 in the February 2026 Criminologists Licensure Examination (CLE) in Region VIII, according to the results released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).

Mailyn Desamparado Kilapio ranked 6th with a rating of 90.55, while Maxine Cavite Bentulan and Mher Frein Pepito Pelones both earned 9th place with ratings of 90.35.

The Professional Criminologists Association of the Philippines (PCAP) is expected to recognize the top passers in a formal awarding ceremony scheduled on April 18, 2026, at the Leyte Convention Complex in Palo, Leyte.

Southern Leyte State University (SLSU) extends its sincere appreciation to its graduates who ranked among the Top 10 in Region VIII in the February 2026 Criminologists Licensure Examination. Their achievement reflects the quality of education provided by the university, as well as their hard work, discipline, and commitment to academic excellence.

The university likewise expressed its gratitude to the faculty of the Faculty of Criminal Justice for their mentorship, guidance, and commitment to shaping competent and principled professionals. Their efforts in mentoring and preparing students played a vital role in this achievement.
