Pathways to Academic Advancement: ETEEAP Orientation and Writeshop
Southern Leyte State University (SLSU) successfully conducted the Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP) Orientation–Writeshop on March 12, 2026, at the RIES Training Hall, SLSU Main Campus. The activity brought together members of the ETEEAP Technical Working Group (TWG) and faculty deans from across the university to strengthen institutional readiness for the implementation of the ETEEAP.

The orientation was facilitated by Dr. Alexander Franco A. Delantar, a member of the CHED ETEEAP Technical Panel and ETEEAP Director of Cebu Institute of Technology–University, who provided valuable insights on the policies, standards, and procedures governing the program. Participants gained a deeper understanding of the ETEEAP framework, including eligibility requirements, portfolio assessment, and the responsibilities of higher education institutions in implementing the program.
Through this initiative, SLSU reaffirms its commitment to expanding access to higher education for working professionals and adult learners in the region.
