Microsoft Backs ICTECO 2026 with Sponsored Conference Management System for November 18-20 Global Event

Southern Leyte State University celebrates another significant milestone as Microsoft officially approved the sponsorship for the use of the Conference Management System, a major step forward in strengthening the digital infrastructure and international reach of the 3rd International Conference on Transformative Extension and Community Outreach (ICTECO 2026).

The approval allows the conference organizers to use a globally recognized conference management platform that will support the entire conference lifecycle—from submission to acceptance, peer review, scheduling, coordination, payment processing, and participant management. With this system in place, the Conference Program Committee can now ensure a more efficient, transparent, and professional conference management process aligned with international standards.

Another important development is that the conference is now searchable within Microsoft’s database of registered international conferences. This greatly enhances the global discoverability and visibility of ICTECO 2026, allowing researchers, extension practitioners, and institutions worldwide to easily locate the conference and participate in its academic and collaborative engagements.

This achievement was made possible through the dedicated efforts of the Office of University Information Systems and Analytics (UISA) under the leadership of Director Francis Rey F. Padao, whose office worked closely with Microsoft to facilitate and secure the sponsorship approval. Their technical support and coordination played a crucial role in ensuring that the conference platform meets global standards for digital conference management.

With the system now approved, the organizing committee is set to begin user training sessions for conference administrators, reviewers, and technical teams. These trainings will ensure that all users are fully equipped to maximize the features of the platform and maintain a smooth and organized workflow throughout the conference preparation period.

ICTECO 2026 is scheduled to take place on November 18–20, 2026, in Sogod, Southern Leyte, Philippines, bringing together researchers, extension professionals, policymakers, and innovators from around the world to share best practices, research outputs, and transformative initiatives that contribute to sustainable community development.

As Southern Leyte State University continues to advance its commitment to innovation, digital transformation, and impactful community engagement, this partnership and technological support further position the university as a growing hub for international collaboration, extension excellence, and research-driven solutions for sustainable development.

The approval of the Microsoft-sponsored conference management system marks an important step toward delivering a globally connected, professionally managed, and impactful ICTECO 2026 conference experience.
