SLSU-TO CISA Office Holds PMIS Refresher Training

Southern Leyte State University (SLSU) – Tomas Oppus Campus, through the CISA Office, conducted a refresher training on the use of the Procurement Management Information System (PMIS) on February 12, 2026, at the SLSU-Tomas Oppus Campus Mini Theater.

The training aimed to provide participants with updated knowledge and hands-on guidance on the latest features and enhancements of the PMIS. It focused on strengthening users’ competencies in navigating the system, particularly in the preparation and creation of essential procurement documents such as Purchase Requests, Requests for Quotation (RFQs), Abstracts of Quotation, and other related forms integral to campus procurement operations.

The training was attended by representatives from various end-user units, as well as personnel from the budget and accounting offices and the campus procurement office. By bringing together these key stakeholders, the campus sought to enhance coordination, accuracy, and transparency in procurement planning and processes.

Through this collaborative effort, SLSU reaffirms its commitment to institutional efficiency, accountability, and continuous improvement in its administrative and financial operations, advancing the principles of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions.
