SLSU Successfully Completes Unified Information Drive Program, Reaching Schools Across Leyte

Southern Leyte State University–Main Campus successfully carried out its Unified Information Drive Program on November 13, 14, and 17–18, 2025, after rescheduling the original November 4–7, 2025 itinerary due to the recent typhoon. Despite the delay, the SAS team, led by the Vice President for Students and Auxiliary Services, Dr. Marie Khul C. Langub, together with the SAS Directors, SAS Heads, and staff, continued with the planned school visits to ensure that senior high school students received up-to-date and accurate information on SLSU’s academic programs, scholarship offerings, and admission processes.

The activities commenced on November 13 with visits to various schools in Inopacan and Hilongos, including Inopacan National High School, Naval National High School, Grelina Osmeña Christian College, Hilongos National Vocational School, MLG College of Learning, and Saint Teresa School of Hilongos. Information materials were likewise distributed to Saint Michael College of Hindang, Leyte, Inc.

On November 14, the team visited schools in Baybay City, Inopacan, and Hindang, including Plaridel National High School, Conalum National High School, Tinago National High School, Bontoc National High School, and Hindang National High School.

The final phase of the information drive was held on November 17–18. Visits to Consolacion National High School, Polahongon National High School, and the Upper and Lower campuses of Mahaplag National High School were completed on November 17, while the session at Sogod National High School took place on November 18, 2025.

Despite the unforeseen weather-related challenges, this year’s Unified Information Drive Program showcased the dedication of SLSU personnel and the continued support of partner schools. Through these outreach efforts, the University reaffirms its commitment to strengthening its community engagement and guiding students as they explore their pathways to higher education.
