SLSU PhD-TM Program Conducts Online Seminar on Global Perspectives in Human Resource Management Research Methodologies

The PhD in Technology Management Program of Southern Leyte State University, in partnership with the External Linkages and International Affairs (ELIA) Office, successfully conducted an academic forum titled “Global Perspectives in Human Resource Management Research Methodologies” on September 21, 2025 (Sunday) via Google Meet.

Dr. Avinash Pawar, Professor and Head of the Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Management Studies, India, who served as the international resource speaker, shared his extensive expertise in Human Resource Management (HRM) and research methodologies, emphasizing the importance of adopting cross-cultural, evidence-based, and innovative approaches in HRM research. He also discussed how globalization and technological advancement continue to transform HRM practices, underscoring the need for new methodological frameworks to address the emerging complexities of modern organizations.

An engaging open forum and Q&A session followed, where participants actively interacted with Dr. Pawar, exchanging insights and best practices that could enhance their ongoing and future research endeavors. The forum aimed to deepen the understanding of doctoral students and faculty members on diverse HRM research methodologies, promote global research engagement, and strengthen SLSU’s research capacity in alignment with its internationalization (IZN) initiatives.

Participants from the PhD in Technology Management Program and faculty members from various SLSU campuses attended the online event, gaining valuable insights into integrating global and interdisciplinary perspectives in HRM research and practice.

Through initiatives like this, SLSU continues to empower its graduate students and faculty to become globally competent researchers and leaders dedicated to advancing quality education and sustainable innovation.
