SLSU Joins CHED's Simultaneous Flag-Raising Ceremony to Mark the 31st CHED Anniversary and 5th National Higher Education Day

Southern Leyte State University (SLSU) participated in the hybrid regional simultaneous flag-raising ceremony organized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) on May 19, 2025, marking the 31st CHED Anniversary and the 5th National Higher Education Day, themed “Higher Heights in Higher Education.”
University key officials, faculty members, staff, and students convened in solidarity with their Filipiniana and Barong attire for the hybrid regional ceremony, supporting CHED's commitment to advancing higher education in the Philippines.
This event pins the launch of a week-long celebration organized by CHED Region VIII, which highlights key developments, initiatives, and collaborations in the higher education sector.
