SLSU recognizes National SCUAA 2025 achievements

Southern Leyte State University (SLSU) takes immense pride in recognizing the outstanding performances of its student-athletes during the National SCUAA 2025 Games, held in Camiguin from April 22 to 27, 2025.

The university paid tribute to the National SCUAA 2025 delegates by formally acknowledging them during the flag ceremony and thanking them for their strength, determination, and sportsmanship in representing SLSU on the national stage.

While not all came home with official awards, most earned dominant wins and incredible performances during the games, and each athlete exhibited exceptional perseverance and heart throughout the competitions.

Additionally, Southern Leyte State University was honored to serve as the official Media Team for Region 8 during the National SCUAA 2025.

Thanks were also offered to the medical team, security personnel, and drivers who ensured the well-being and safety of all delegates.

As the recognition came to a close, awardees, student-athletes, coaches, and trainers gathered for a photo opportunity with the university's key officials, led by University President Dr. Jude A. Duarte, along with Vice Presidents Dr. Constantino G. Medilo, Jr. (Vice President for Academic Affairs), Dr. Dewoowoogen P. Baclayon (Vice President for Administration and Finance), Dr. Francis Ann R. Sy (Vice President for Research, Innovation, and Extension Service), and Dr. Marie Khul C. Langub (Vice President for Student and Auxiliary Services). Their unwavering support inspires the SLSU community to strive for greater heights.
