Southern Leyte State U produces another cohort of licensed civil engineers in latest licensure exam

Success continues for Southern Leyte State University as more graduates pass Civil Engineer Licensure Examination.

Southern Leyte State U and the College of Engineering have produced seven (7) newly licensed Civil Engineers in the recent April 2023 Civil Engineer Board Examination with results released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on April 29, 2023.

Included in the roster of the passers are Engr. Crisly S. Amizona, Engr. July M. Balsamo, Engr. Jediah L. Gabiana, Engr. Clarise L. Calaycay, Engr. Jacquilyn C. Gildo, Engr. Miriam M. Malda, and Engr. Joshua B. Ombina.

Southern Leyte State U posted a passing rate of 21.43% for first-time takers, and garnered an overall passing percentage of 19.44%.

Garret Wilkenson Sia from De La Salle University and Alexis Alegado from Mariano Marcos State University landed on the first spot with a whooping percentage of 92.10.

PRC announced that 5,887 out of 16,936 passed the Civil Engineers Licensure Examination given by the Board of Civil Engineering in National Capital Region, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
