Turn-over and blessing ceremony of the newly constructed research, innovation, extension services bldg

The University President, Dr. Prose Ivy G. Yepes, Vice President for Research, Innovation, and Extension Services, Dr. Francis Ann R. Sy, Director for Extension Services, Dr. Frederick C. Aniga, and Director for Research and Innovation, Dr. Rhoderick D. Malangsa led the ribbon cutting during the turnover and blessing ceremony of the newly constructed Research, Innovation and Extension Services (REIS) Building at Southern Leyte State University-Main Campus on Friday, November 18, 2022 with the theme RIES on the MOVE: Housing the Future of SLSU’s Research, Innovation, and Extension Services.

The ceremonial turnover of the RIES Building was held with a blessing presided over by Rev. Fr. Virchel A. Acain.
The RIES Building would center all Research, Innovation, and Extension Services engagements and house the future of SLSU's RIES.

Engr. Rogie Boy P. Paa, on behalf of Juncynth Construction and General Services, expressed his gratitude for the success of the construction of the aforementioned structure in his message of turnover.

Dr. Yepes stated during her acceptance speech that RIES is now gaining recognition and bringing pride to the university, and that with the new building, all researchers and extensionists will be inspired to pursue even greater opportunities for the future of the University.

Ms. Mabel R. Calva, Vice President for Administration and Finance, also graced the ceremonial turnover, together with some faculty and staff.
