Southern Leyte State U extensionists meet for the 2022 inter-college extension conference

The Office of Extension Services of Southern Leyte State University marks another history as it holds its first-ever Inter-College Extension Conference with the theme "Opportunities in Extension in the New Normal" on October 25, 2022 at the Plenary Hall, USSC Building, Southern Leyte State U-Main Campus

Vice President for Research, Innovation, Extension Services Dr. Francis Ann R. Sy kicked off the program by presenting the most recent extension indicators, including the achievements of the extension services programs, projects, and activities (PPAs) linked

The event was graced by the extensionists from various campuses and colleges: Maasin Campus, Tomas Oppus Campus, Hinunangan Campus, College of Hospitality and Tourism Management, College of Computer Science and Information Technology, College of Technology, College of Engineer, Institute of Arts and Sciences, College of Criminal Justice, and Graduate School.

During the conduct of the event, 11 completed and ongoing PPAs were presented. The event covers socially and economically significant PPAs undertaken by the extensionists, and an intellectual discussion ensued as the panel of evaluators assessed each paper presented.

Dr. Frederick C. Aniga, Dr. Rhoderick D. Malangsa, Dr. Nelfa C. Gil, and Ms. Adelfa C. Diola were among the evaluators who committed their invaluable research and extension services expertise.
