6 Mechanical Eng'g alumni pass the Aug 2022 board exam, gives Southern Leyte State U 80% passing rate for first-time takers

Southern Leyte State University garners an 80% passing rate for the first-time takers of the August 2022 Licensure Exam for Mechanical Engineers.

A total of six (6) Mechanical Engineering alumni passed the recently released licensure exam for Mechanical Engineers. Four (4) of which are first-time takers while the other two (2) are repeaters.

In February 2022 of the same licensure exam, Southern Leyte State U also garnered 80% for the first-time takers with an overall passing rate of 72.3%.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces on August 22 that 3,184 out of 5,880 passed the August 2022 Mechanical Engineer Licensure Examination and 140 out of 174 passed the Certified Plant Mechanic Licensure Examination given by the Board of Mechanical Engineering in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Legazpi, Lucena, Rosales, Tacloban and Zamboanga.

Franz Joshua Pingol of Polytechnic University of the Philippines topped this batch of examinees garnering a 95.35% rating, while Batangas State University was hailed as the top-performing school with a passing percentage of 94.19.

Meanwhile, here are the newly licensed Mechanical Engineers who passed the August 2022 board exam:

According to PRC, the date and venue of the oathtaking ceremony will be announced later.
