SAS conducts 2-day training to develop, provide quality services to stakeholders

To further develop the services of the Office of Student and Auxiliary Services (SAS), SAS personnel went through a training on May 23-24, 2022 on the reorientation of Philippine Quality Award (PQA), Quacquarelli-Symonds (QS) Stars, ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS), Times Higher Education (THE) Ranking, Strategic Performance Management System (SPMS), & other relevant policies such as revisiting the 5-year Strategic Plan, monitoring and review of operational Risks for SAS.

These areas are national and international quality – standard giving bodies which the university strive to achieve in order to provide quality service and excellent performance to its stakeholders.

The two–day activity aims to provide and re-enforce the personnel with relevant knowledge on how to attain the highest scores in these areas in order for them to deliver relevant and responsive service to all customers such as students, partners, and other stakeholders.

The Workshop on Risks Management seeks to empower the personnel by allowing them to identify and analyze possible challenges and potential hazards and create outlines to prevent them. The precautions will provide an efficient and harmonious flow of service to all the customers that the university caters most importantly to the vulnerable like persons with disabilities (PWDs), indigenous people (IPs), those who belong to the marginalized group, and others.

These components are very vital for our institution to achieve its highest level of performance of excellence. Southern Leyte State University strives to achieve and maintain these.

This is part of the university’s goal which is to provide responsive and pro-active Student Programs and Quality Services for optimum student welfare and development
