SLSU-Sogod Campus announces its search of a Job Order Civil Engineer

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  1. Plan and design construction projects of the university;
  2. Prepare estimates and determine the total cost of projects;
  3. Draw blueprints using computer aided design packages;
  4. Assess the environmental impact and risks connected to projects;
  5. Test soils to determine the adequacy and strength of foundations;
  6. Lead the management technical inspection team in monitoring progress of the projects and ensuring conformance to design specifications and safety or sanitation standards;
  7. Test construction materials for the use in particular projects;
  8. Perform other engineering duties.
