SLSU Holds Writeshop to Upgrade Its Online Journal System

Southern Leyte State University (SLSU), through the Journal Production and Management Office (JPMO), conducted a two-day Writeshop on SLSU Online Journal System (OJS) Article Uploading for improved research publication management on October 23-24, 2025 at the RIES Training Hall.
The activity focused on upgrading the existing OJS platform to enhance efficiency, transparency, and accessibility in journal publication. The system serves as the official platform for the university’s research journals, including the Journal of Educational and Human Resource Development (JEHRD), Journal of Science, Engineering, and Technology (JSET), Community Outreach Journal (COJ), Asia Pacific Journal of Geospatial Information Systems (APJGIS), and Action Research Annals (ARA).
The writeshop guided the JPMO personnel in article uploading, system navigation, and workflow management to strengthen the publication process. The JPMO accepts the submission of articles for the 2025 issue until November 30, 2025.
