SLSU Hinunangan conducts Mangrove Lecture Series and Climate Resilience

The Research, Innovation, & Extension Services, in collaboration with the Department of Environmental Science of Southern Leyte State U - Hinunangan spearheaded a Lecture Series titled "Huyuhoy: The Wonders of Mangroves - Nature's Resilient Guardians" via Zoom Teleconferencing. The event unfolded earlier this morning, October 27, 2023, engaging a diverse and enthusiastic audience.

The occasion commenced with a warm welcome message from Dr. Ian Navarrete, Head of RIES, who set the tone for the day's proceedings. Dr. Navarrete's message underscored the importance of the event, highlighting the critical role that mangroves play in environmental conservation and climate
