SLSU hosts stakeholder's consultative forum for proposed programs

In a dedicated pursuit of academic excellence and relevance, Southern Leyte State University successfully conducted a virtual Stakeholder's Consultative Forum on May 15, 2023.

The forum centered around the proposed programs of Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemistry, BS Mathematics, and Bachelor in Human Services, aiming to gather insights from field experts.

The event received widespread acclaim as a diverse array of stakeholders provided significant feedback and recommendations for curriculum improvement.

Recognizing the significance of integrating real-world perspectives into academic programs, Southern Leyte State U extended invitations to numerous distinguished guests. These notable attendees included representatives from Local Government Units (LGUs) within the province, industry experts from across the Philippines, and accomplished professors from both local and international universities.

The forum dedicated a specific session to the proposed BS Chemistry program, where leading experts in the field, including prominent industry leaders, were invited to share their expert opinions on the curriculum.
