DTE launches program to intensify Education graduates review classes

The Department of Teacher Education (DTE) of Southern Leyte State University-Main Campus launches a program on the “Intensified Competency Enhancement of Education Graduates for Professional Assessment” on January 25, 2023.

This is a program of a two- year duration supporting the Extension Services Agenda on Transformative Learning.

The objective of the program is to conduct review classes to SLSU education graduates from the priority courses of Bachelor in Elementary Education and Bachelor in Technology and Livelihood Education in preparation for the upcoming Licensure Exam for Teacher in March 2023 and beyond.

To improve the LET Performance among fresh graduates and retakers is the inspiration when this program was conceptualized, calling for the cooperation of Professors from various Departments of the University to share their field of expertise in the conduct of review classes through face to face sessions.

The program was launched in the DTE building graced by the Research, Innovation, and Extension Services (RIES) Coordinator, faculty, and staff.
