Dream Builders smashes their way towards triumph in Badminton

The crowd was ecstatic as the Dream Builders dominated the court in Badminton on Day 1 of the Sportsfest 2022 held at SLSU-TO covered court.

“Very close, very windy, but most of my errors were because of me since I couldn’t adjust to the game. We won, but I wasn’t satisfied with our game, so I will definitely improve next time.” These were the words of Jero Gan, a Grade 9 student from the Goal Seekers team who played doubles in Badminton.

For the singles category, victory went to the Dream Builders for Set A male and female. For set B, Goal seekers prevailed in this round for both males and females. Dream Builders almost swept the college division. Quevenn Endico, a player from the Dream Builders, was asked about his reaction to their gameplay and said he was pressured.

Dream builders also bagged the awards for the Doubles category in the female and male college divisions, while Goal Seekers in the high school department won for the males. Jomar Almida, a Grade 7 student from Dream Builders who won for the singles category, gave a tip for those who want to try Badminton, “They shouldn’t be scared and just be confident.” For this year’s SPORTSFEST, the Dream Builders team conquered the Badminton games and looked forward to bagging the gold medals in the other upcoming games and sports.
